Research Triangle Park, N.C. – May 7, 2008 – Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex today introduced PolySāf 5600 polymer, a new ingredient for use in personal care products, including body washes, shampoos and deodorants. Utilizing unique cationic emulsion chemistry, this new polymer will help formulators develop extremely mild and gentle personal care products with improved deodorancy and a clean after feel (less build up). The company will showcase PolySāf 5600 polymer at the New York SCC Suppliers’ Day event in Edison, New Jersey, on May 14 and 15, Booth 207.

It is also compatible with a wide range of other ingredients, enabling future new product development efforts.
