Research Triangle Park, North Carolina – June 12, 2006 – Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex has announced a price increase of $0.03/dry pound for all of the specialty latex products in the company’s line. The increase will be effective on June 30, 2006 and is in addition to all previously announced increases.

The company cited the continuing escalation in the cost of key raw materials, as well as energy, as the reasons for the price increase. The company is committed to maintaining reasonable margins that allow it to continue to invest in product technology and manufacturing resources to help meet customer needs.

Dow Reichhold Specialty Latex LLC is a 50/50 joint venture of The Dow Chemical Company and Reichhold, Inc. The joint venture is the world’s largest producer of specialty latex. The company is headquartered in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, U.S.A.
